Health plan primary care discount
Anyone covered by a UofL health plan will receive discounted primary care if he/she visits a UofL faculty physician. There is no co-payment charge for people covered by a UofL EPO or PPO plan. Anyone with coverage under the PCA Low or PCA High plans has the cost of the office visit reduced by $20. Locations are Cardinal Station, the new location of the UofL Health Care Centers for Primary Care, 215 Central Ave.; and the UofL Health Care Outpatient Center, 401 E. Chestnut St.

Preventative Cardiology Clinic
Accounting for more than 40 percent of the recorded deaths in the nation, cardiovascular diseases also hits the metro area and the state of Kentucky especially hard. The rate of heart disease in Louisville Metro is twice the national average, while Kentucky ranks 48th in the nation in cardiovascular health.
Chest-Compression-Only CPR
The American Heart Association (AHA) encourages bystanders to help adults who suffer sudden cardiac arrest by providing “high-quality chest compressions by pushing hard and fast in the middle of the victim’s chest, with minimal interruptions.”
