Applicants are required to submit a final, official transcript showing completion of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. The minimum grade point average (gpa) required is 2.75.
For applicants who have earned a 2.50-2.74 undergraduate degree gpa, a "last 30 credit hours" gpa may be calculated. If the "last 30 credit hours" gpa is at least 3.0, then the applicant may be considered for admission. Post-baccalaureate and graduate courses from accredited institutions may be considered in the "last 30 credit hours" gpa. Applicants with an undergraduate degree gpa below 2.50 are not considered competitive candidates for the Master of Arts in Teaching program.
Note: Applicants who are in progress of completing their final degree at the time of application should submit a statement from an academic advisor indicating enrollment in the final semester for graduation.
