Undergraduate Researach Opportunities

University of Louisville President's  Commission on Diversity and Racial  Equality (CODRE) Grant Opportunities

The request for this funding initiative will be focused on support of UofL undergraduate student research that targets populations which are the focus of the commission- diverse, under served, under-represented and/or vulnerable populations.  The student investigator must have completed his/her sophomore year or completed at least 60 credit hours at the University of Louisville at the time the application is submitted.

Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) Program

The Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) Scholars program was created to enhance the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) awareness, participation, and research opportunities of upperclassmen African American students who elect to major and freshman African American students who have identified or have a strong interest in specific STEM disciplines.

Participants in the program are required to have a cumulative 3.0 gpa as well as obtain a designated number of community service hours and attend a determined amount of events. For more information contact Phyllis Clark by email at lsamp@louisville.edu
