Scholars!

Welcome back to what's going to be an extraordinary year of poise, position and preparation!  This is what I shared with our incoming Porters and now I want to share with you.

You all have been asking for society updates, upgrades and overall enhancements.  Well, the year is here! We are in the middle of revamping and coming up with more engaging activites for everybody to participate in.  Leondra Gully, Cres'Sena Manning (Porter Graduate Intern) and myself are ready to deliver but before we share all of what's been taking place while you've been away, our first order of business for the new year involves Porter College 2011.  This is the 3rd year that we've hosted our newest scholars on campus prior to the start of school.  Many of you were charter participants gave us some feedback and we have listened.

There are a number of opportunities in which your assistance is needed. As a current scholar, your wealth of college experiences and insights are most important to me as we work to get our new scholars off on the right foot.
