The Cultural Center would like to invite departments and RSO's to complete the following co-sponsorship form to request funds for their events. The mission of the Cultural Center is to creates educational opportunities for members of the university community to critically think about their beliefs, values and assumptions as it relates to culture. To fulfill our mission, we support and offer co-curricular and extra-curricular programs that acknowledge and reflect the experiences of under-represented populations. We also provide educational opportunities for all members of the campus community to examine their individual and group experiences within a culturally diverse society.  The Center’s goals are:

• to provide Advocacy for our students,
• Celebrate the diverse cultures of the campus community,
• Engage students in social justice issues,
• and support the Scholarship and retention of U of L students.

Events or programs that support our mission and goals are more likely to receive funding from the Center. Please consider that when completing this request. Funds must be requested at least 30 days in advance of the event in order to receive funds in time for the event. Co-sponsorship forms must be submitted online using the Co-sponsorship Request Form. Understand that if you receive funds for your events, you are required to complete an online Post-Event Assessment. The Cultural Center staff will contact you within one-week with a funding decision.
