Living on campus will put you in the center of everything. It gives you the access to leadership and employment opportunities, as well as making it easy to get to   class each day. You never have to worry about finding a parking spot!  The relationships formed while living on campus make an incredible impact on students’ lives.  Hall activities promote team building and encourage participation in educational and social programs and in-service projects that connect residents with the campus community and the community at large.  Check out these numbers:

  • More than 60% of UofL freshmen live on campus.
  • Students who live on campus their first year have a 25 percent greater chance of returning the second year, of graduating and of having a greater overall satisfaction with their college experience.
  • More than 4,100 students at the University of Louisville will choose to live in a campus community this year.
  • Beginning in Fall 2012, all UofL freshmen will be required to live on campus, unless commuting from home.

The online housing application will be available January 2012. You will complete the housing application and submit a non-refundable $175 payment. Please e-mail housing@louisville.edu with any questions.

Don't forget: housing is first-come, first-served so get your application in ASAP!
