Ever had a question about what street harassment is? Has anyone said something to you about your appearance that made you uncomfortable?
Women 4 Women Student Board & the Women's Center will be hosting events during National Anti-Street Harassment Week, April 2-8 with educational, engaging, and interactive presentations and discussions on what street harassment is, the prevalence of it, and ways to combat street harassment in our community.
Events During the Week
Monday April 3
11am-1pm, Red Barn
Come reclaim your personal space back with sidewalk chalk at the Red Barn. Write all the unspoken messages you've wanted to say to harassers and any inappropriate comments that have been said to you. Come show your support to victims by signing a pledge to combat street harassment.
Thursday April 6
6-7:30pm, Red Barn
Special guest: Title IX Coordinator of the CASE Project will be on hand to discuss the issue as well as students’ experiences with street harassment. Free food to be provided.
