Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in STEM 2021

Join us and be empowered as we acknowledge and celebrate women in STEM on Tuesday March 23, 2021 6-7:30pm virtually on Microsoft Teams! Program will feature a keynote speaker, discussions, a Women in STEM panel, and networking. Open to all majors; high school students.

Goals:

  • Highlight and honor women’s accomplishments in the STEM Fields
  • Bring awareness on the barriers to women in STEM
  • Provide skills and tips to dismantle these barriers
  • Provide networking and connections with professional women in STEM

Keynote Speaker

Keturah Jenkins is the IT Director of Enterprise Transformation at Humana where her team equips the organization to work differently with more contemporary tools and processes to meet business needs.  Prior to her role at Humana, she spent 17 years in various roles ranging from Information Technology to Quality to Leadership Development across a variety of industries and geographic locations. 

In addition, Keturah is a certified Executive Coach and is passionate about helping people find their purpose through mentoring, individual coaching, or her book “Whose Life is This Anyway?!”.  She has also facilitated workshops for private companies as well as industry conferences on four continents.   Personally, Keturah enjoys time with her husband and two children, loves exploring other cultures, and is an active volunteer in her community through her church.
