Meet Taylor Ryan, a 32-year-old Black woman who wears multiple hats as a single parent, active community member, nonprofit executive director and founder. She is an advocate of fighting against food injustice and public health disparities through direct community outreach in Louisville, KY’s West End. She received her undergraduate degree at the University of Louisville where she boasts was the foundation to the ripple effect that is her current environment. She brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her work every day. Taylor holds two master's degrees in Adult Education and Leadership Studies, which she uses to champion initiatives that benefit the underserved populations within her community. Her love for the community runs deep, and has continually driven her to work tirelessly towards improving the lives of others. What sets her apart is her commitment to direct outreach in the community. She understands that real change only comes through building relationships and working together to create sustainable solutions. Whether she's organizing community gardens, running health fairs, or one day advocating for policy changes, she always keeps the needs and perspectives of the people she serves at the forefront of her work. As the executive director and founder of Change Today, Change Tomorrow, Taylor is wholly committed to empowering and educating individuals on the importance of healthy eating and lifestyle choices. Through her advocacy work, she has successfully implemented innovative programs that strive to bridge the gap between food insecurity and access to nutritional resources. Despite all the challenges that come with being a single parent, Taylor’s unwavering call to promoting social change remains an inspiration to many. She has become a beacon of change, proving that even one person can make a significant difference in the world. Above all, our executive director has an unshakable love for her community. She believes that everyone deserves access to healthy, fresh foods and the opportunity to live a full and vibrant life. Her dedication and tireless efforts have touched countless lives and inspired many others to join the fight for food and public health justice.
