Sabeen Nasim currently serves as the Chief Development Officer for Metro United Way where she leads the fundraising team responsible for securing revenue from diverse resources to support impact strategies and ensure the sustainability of Metro United Way’s mission. Sabeen previously served as the Director for Louisville Metro’s Office for Globalization and joined the Mayor’s team as an experienced leader and public servant with over 15 years working in various roles related to community development including the UPS Air Region Public Affairs & Community Relations Supervisor where she was the primary field representative and liaison for the UPS Foundation and other positions ranging from Middle School Math and Science teacher to Project Manager and Assistant Principal in public education. Sabeen believes in empowering people to be part of the solution to challenges while focusing their energy in a positive direction. It is with this enthusiasm that led to her being recognized as Louisville’s Business First Top 20 People to Know in Education and the Workforce and more recently, Top 20 People to Know in Nonprofits. Beyond her professional interests, she enjoys travel, playing board games with her husband, cooking international cuisine, and spending quality time with her teenage son.
