An inclusive leader in the field of the arts and culturecommitted to increasing access to the arts and culture for diverse women and families.

Mahogany Mayfield is a youth worker, community builder, journal designer and safe-space creator. She has experience with curriculum development, program facilitation, and community engagement. During her tenure at the Speed Art Museum, Mahogany has hosted Community Days to celebrate art, community, and culture! Her work aims to advance Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging at the Speed Art Museum. Last year Mahogany began creating journals to celebrate Sisterhood and everyday beauty. She hopes to create a space of safety, releasing, and receiving through her journals. Mahogany is passionate about centering self-expression and liberation.
