Lexi Raikes

The Boren Awards provide undergraduates and graduate students in all fields of study with funding for up to one year of immersive study abroad in languages and regions of interest to U.S. National Security. Lexi Raikes, a May 2022 graduate of the College of Arts & Sciences with degrees in English, French and political science, will study French in Senegal.

As a UofL junior, Lexi won Kentucky’s only Truman Scholarship in 2021.
