Lori Porter wins NSF Fellowship
Ms. Lori Porter has won the prestigious NSF Graduate Research Fellowship and is headed to Columbia University to pursue a Ph.D. degree in astrophysics. The title of Lori’s funded NSF GRFP proposal is FIRE Matters: Developing a Theoretical Model of the Baryon Cycle with the FIRE Simulations," focusing on investigating the patterns of baryon transport in and around galaxies.
