PALS - Public Astronomy Lecture Series
Over the last years astronomers in the department created the Public Astronomy Lecture Series (PALS). It is a series of presentations for the general public about our research, astronomical events, and any astronomy related topic of interest. Currently PALS is hosted in Louisville at Monnik Beer Co. on 1036 E Burnett Ave. and is scheduled for the first Wednesday of every month during the fall and spring semester (except for January). The talks are supposed to last about 1 hours including questions by the audience and are designed for a general audience without any background in astronomy.
