Fall 2008 i2a Faculty Learning Community on Critical Thinking (FLC-CT)
As a result of participating in the Fall 2008 FLC-CT, Dr. Collins renewed her focus on effectively designing her course. In her own words:
Participation in the Faculty Learning Community on Critical Thinking has helped me to re-think how I teach key social work concepts that will make a difference in the way students support clients seeking help. This training especially helped to me to consider the core question(s) for the class which sets the foundation for the class goals and objectives. Prior to my participation in the i2a training, I would set the goals and objectives but was not intentional in putting the question(s) on paper to guide me in my planning.
