Fall 2008 i2a Faculty Learning Community on Critical Thinking (FLC-CT)
Dr. Burnet completed this project as part of the Fall 2008 FLC-CT. As a result, she incorporated the Paul-Elder critical thinking framework into several aspects of her course. Specifically, she revised the peer review process to allow her students to apply the concepts of critical thinking to the work generated by their peers. She was also able to explicitly outline the Elements of Thought as they apply to a Journal Article Review assignment. Additionally, Dr. Burnet revised her Learning Outcomes for the course to reflect the terminology of the framework.
