Ambassador Peer Mentors
What's a Peer Mentor?
Ambassador Peer Mentors and Peer Advising Ambassadors are UofL students who work with first time freshmen starting at Welcome Week and continuing through the first year in your orientation course. You'll have either an Ambassador Peer Mentor or a Peer Advising Ambassador assigned to you, but don't worry, they're both super helpful Peer Mentors. These outstanding upperclass student leaders can help ease your college transitions, help you form campus connections and facilitate your success at UofL. Your Peer Mentor can offer you valuable insights and support for academic and personal challenges that you're likely to encounter as new or returning student.
How do I find my Peer Mentor?
You'll meet your Peer Mentor at Welcome Week and Winter Welcome, you can meet with them in person throughout the school year in the Student Success Center in the Belknap Academic Building, and your Peer Mentor will connect with you via email.
You can always check who your Peer Mentor is by looking at your Success Team in CardSmart. Learn more about using CardSmart here.
