Assessment for ADHD & Learning Disabilities

Many students who attend the University of Louisville experience academic difficulty and begin to question whether they may have a learning disability or attention deficit disorder. It is not unusual for students to remain undiagnosed until college.  Perhaps it's time to seek an assessment!

Below are some options for obtaining a psychological assessment:

  • UofL Counseling Center (waitlist)
Student Activities Center W204, Belknap Campus
Sliding scale rates based on income and tests used – call (502) 852-6585 for fee information.
Available to current UofL students only.
  • UofL Noble H. Kelley Psychological Services Center
    Davidson Hall 210, Belknap Campus
Sliding scale rates based on income – call (502) 852-6782 for fee information.
  • UofL College of Education and Human Development, Cardinal Success @ Nia Center
    2900 W. Broadway, Suite #320, Louisville, KY 40211
Services provided at no-cost – call 502-852-3888 for more information.
  • Thriving Campus
Use this resource to find off-campus mental health practitioners.  Results can be filtered based on practitioner qualities, insurance coverage, sliding scale fee availability, etc.  Not all practitioners may offer testing.  Costs will vary.

Are financial barriers preventing you from being able to seek an assessment? Reach out to your Student Success Coordinator to discuss your options regarding costs associated with obtaining the documentation necessary to connect with the DRC.
