Prosthodontics Technology and Facilities

The University of Louisville School of Dentistry is one of the most innovative prosthodontics programs in the country, with faculty who are among the world’s leading clinicians and researchers in the use of technology.

We use advanced imaging technologies such as Cone Beam CT and digital scanning, as well as digital design and fabrication that takes tooth restoration to a new level. Using intra-oral scanners and CAD/CAM software, our dentists can design, form and shape a dental restoration virtually. They can then use the milling station to create everything from crowns to veneers and fixed bridges.
