A free shuttle will be offered to those staying in the meeting contracted hotels, Home2 Suites by Hilton and Marriott Residence Inn. The shuttle schedule is listed below:

Saturday, June 1, 2024
Morning - beginning at 7:45AM through 9AM with a continuous loop:

  • Pick up at the Residence Inn Downtown at 333 East Market St
  • Pick up at the Home2 Suites at 240 South Hancock St
  • Drop off at UofL CTR Building located at 505 S. Hancock St

Evening - beginning at 7:30PM through 8:30PM with a continuous loop:

  • Pick up at the UofL CTR Building located at 505 S. Hancock St
  • Drop off at Home2 Suites at 240 South Hancock St
  • Drop off at Residence Inn Downtown at 333 East Market Street

Street Parking:

Saturday, June 1, 2024 – for those who did not request parking at the time of registration, limited street parking is available. You will have to pay the meter throughout the day to park on the street.

Sunday, June 2, 2024 – street parking is free.

Meeting Registration:

Please be sure to check-in upon arrival on Saturday morning, June 1st. At check-in, you will receive a program booklet, T-shirt, name badge, etc. The check-in desk will be located at the entrance to the building.

Oral Abstract Presentations:

Individuals presenting oral abstracts at the Symposium are asked to please sit in the front row during the session in which you will be presenting to allow for a smooth transition between presentations.

Poster Session:

Individual poster numbers will be listed in the program book. In addition, you will receive a sheet with your poster number the morning of check in. The poster boards for mounting your poster will be numbered as well. Please mount your poster on the board that corresponds to your poster number.

The poster boards will be set up when you arrive on Saturday, June 1st. You may set up your poster at any time before the poster session begins at 3PM.

Cocktails on Saturday, June 1:

Each attendee will receive two drink tickets for the cocktail hour/dinner that can be used for beer/wine. Additional beer/wine may be purchased once the two tickets have been used. You will find your two drink tickets in your name badge upon check-in. Soft drinks will be provided at no cost.
