Luke Parker (Graphic Design ℅ 2019) received the 2018 SIGUCCS Communication “Award of Excellence” for his CardBox Departmental Folders animation, done during his internship in UofL’s Performance Improvement & Business Analytics office.

SIGUCCS is the Special Interest Group on University and College Computing Services of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). Each year ACM SIGUCCS sponsors a competition to honor the best publications, websites and promotional material produced by university and college centers. It is a highly competitive, international, peer-juried competition recognizing excellence in developing useful and attractive communications in a variety of media categories. •

The category for this specific award provides an opportunity to specifically recognize and reward the creativity and professionalism of our students. The judges look at the function of promotional materials and digital publications in order to increase the visibility of IT services and information about special projects.
