Glass Demonstration by Hank Murta Adams
Hank Adams is a world-renowned glass artist and the Creative Director of the glass studio at the Wheaton Arts and Cultural Center in Millville, New Jersey. Hank began his studies in glass as a student of Dale Chihuly at the Rhode Island School of Design in the 1970’s. He has taught at numerous educational facilities, including Pilchuck Glass School in Washington State, and UrbanGlass in New York. In addition to his extensive international exhibition record, Hank Adams has been the esteemed recipient of three National Endowment for the Arts Fellowships.
Hank Adams is one of the most engaging artists in the field of contemporary glass. Though his sculptural pieces are immediately recognizable to those familiar with glass art, his work and methods extend beyond the boundaries of traditional sculpture and often reside at the intersection of architecture, installation, and performance.
