Description: New construction at the UofL Papa John's Cardinal Stadium will expand the existing stadium to 60,000 seats and provide new spaces and amenities. An upper deck will be constructed on the East side of the stadium that will be served by its own upper level concourse which will include concessions, support spaces and toilet facilities. In addition a new Suite level containing 45 new private suites will be constructed on the East side that will provide 45 new private suites with outdoor seating. A new Loge level will also be constructed on the East side of the stadium that will provide 2000 new outdoor seats. The Loge level will share an enclosed executive concourse and club spaces with the new Suite level. The Loge and Suite level will be constructed at the same level as the existing West side Suite level and connected by a new upper level end zone Terrace that will be accessible to all stadium patrons. Additional lower level seating will be added at the North ends of the stadium. The facility is to be complete for the 2010 football season.
