Ramsey tells freshmen to "show up with your game face on" (Video)
The University of Louisvilles incoming freshman will be joining in a covenant with the school, according to UofL President Dr. James Ramsey. As part of freshman orientation, Dr. Ramsey is telling the new students and their parents that UofL faculty and staff are promising to do everything they can to see each student graduate in four years. But, the president says, theres no guarantee unless students fulfill their part of the deal and meet the high expectations of their professors. In other words, Ramsey told the freshmen, show up with your game face on.
Ramsey tells area leaders that education is key for region to prosper
Higher education is the key ingredient for Kentucky and southern Indiana to prosper in the 21st century. That’s what University of Louisville President James Ramsey told more than 200 business and community leaders at a conference June 2.

Beshear taps UofL to take the lead on renewable energy research
Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear announced Jan. 26 that he is entering into a memorandum of agreement with the University of Louisville to operate Kentucky’s Center for Renewable Energy Research and Environmental Stewardship.
