Faculty Artists: Paul York, cellist & the University Wind Symphony

This Sunday, February 23 at Comstock Hall at 7:30, cellist Paul York will perform the world premiere of  "Remember Me" for Solo Cello and Wind Ensemble by David Maslanka, with the University Wind Ensemble, Frederick Speck, conductor.  Maslanka will be in residence at the U of L School of Music from February 20, to the 23.  The Concert will also feature the Chamber Winds Louisville, the Louisville Concert Band as well as the University Wind Symphony .  Other works by David Maslanka on the concert are "Give us This Day" and  "Symphony No. 4."   Other composers featured on the concert include Payton MacDonald, Tyler Taylor and Jack Stamp.

All events are held at the School of Music on the University of Louisville Belknap Campus and are free and open to the public, unless otherwise noted.
