Child Neurology Residency Training Program

The Department of Neurology, Division of Pediatric Neurology and the Department of Pediatrics offer one or two five-year Categorical positions per year, whereby qualified applicants may apply for their two-year preliminary training in pediatrics along with their three-year training in child neurology, both at the University of Louisville. Those individuals interested in applying must apply for the Categorical five-year position through ERAS. The Department of Neurology and the Division of Pediatric Neurology may also offer a three-year Reserved position in our ACGME-accredited residency in Child Neurology for qualified applicants who have completed or will complete one of three pathways for the prerequisite training according to the ABPN standards for training in child neurology leading to board-eligibility. One child neurology resident may be accepted into this program. Applications are processed through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS®).
