The University of Louisville’s Anthropology Graduate Student Association (AGSA) is hosting a fundraising event on November 13th from 4-9pm at Griff’s restaurant (323 W. Cardinal Blvd.). The goal of this event is to raise funds to help support Anthropology graduate students meet some of their current goals, which includes purchasing t-shirts that answer the fundamental question posed by students from other disciplines “what is anthropology?” Also, these funds will support AGSA participation in the Angel Tree Program to provide Christmas gifts and winter coats for children from less fortunate families in Louisville.

Griff’s has generously agreed to donate 20% of proceeds on November 13th from 4-9PM to AGSA, but this offer is contingent on a minimum of 20 guests who must RSVP in advance. If you are planning to attend, please RSVP at the following link so we can be sure to keep our reservation: https://www.groupraise.com/events/41981 Also, when you purchase your meal, mention AGSA and follow the restaurant's instructions to ensure 20% of your meal's price is donated. We want to thank you in advance for your support, and we hope to see everybody at the fundraiser. Don’t forget to RSVP!!
