Commuter Parking

If you would like to purchase a parking permit, you are eligible for our commuting pass located at Cardinal Stadium. For 2018-2019, the permit cost is $100/year and is pro-rated. Please visit the Parking and Transportation Services website for information on purchasing a permit.

The Cardinal Shuttle (TARC #94) runs from Cardinal Stadium every 5-7 minutes and provides transportation to designated stops around campus. The shuttle is free to all UofL students with a valid Cardinal Card.

*Please note, there is no specific parking area for our senior citizens on campus.

Resident Parking

If you are living in campus housing, resident parking permits are available on a first-come first-serve basis, and sales are limited to match available spaces. For 2018-2019, the permit cost is $169/year and waiting lists are available. Please visit the Parking and Transportation Services website for information on purchasing a permit.

Handicapped Parking

If you have a state handicapped place, placard or tag, you are eligible to apply for a handicapped spot on campus. Additionally, if your physician recommends it best for you to have a handicapped permit, you may complete an application with Parking and Transportation Services.

Off-Campus Parking

There are side streets with free parking surrounding campus, though they do get crowded around peak class times (8AM-4PM.) Please keep in mind that there is a high school across from the School of Music on Cardinal Boulevard, and they are strict about towing during the school day.
