The Employee Success Center, located in the Office of the President, was created in 2020 to provide professional development, guidance and formal mentoring to all classes of employees. The center is fully dedicated to supporting and promoting people, culture and engagement while integrating the Cardinal Principles into the institutional fabric of the university.
An inclusive organization committed to encouraging and promoting the personal and professional development of women faculty and staff at UofL by working in collaboration with University partners, the Women’s Network will give women access to valuable contacts and information on programming, sponsorships and networking opportunities.
The University of Louisville Faculty Senate is responsible for eliciting and expressing the opinions, suggestions, and recommendations of the faculty on all matters of concern to the faculty as a whole.
The Staff Senate is the official governance group representing all staff of the University, and is responsible for eliciting and expressing opinions, suggestions, and recommendations of the staff in all matters of concern to the staff as a whole.
Commission on the Status of Women
The COSW actually came into existence after a Task Force Committee was assembled in 1993 to evaluate the status of women at the University. They serve as the President’s chief policy advisory group for faculty and staff gender equity.
Commission on Diversity and Racial Equality
The Commission on Diversity and Racial Equality serves as the President's Chief Policy Advisor on issues of diversity.
