LGBTQ+ Center celebration events for spring graduates and scholarship opportunities

UofL's LGBTQ+ Center will be celebrating their spring graduates with several events - and have some scholarship opportunities:

LGBT Center Celebration of Spring Graduates 

Lavender Graduation (Deadline, May 4)
In partnership with the UofL Pride Alumni Council the LGBT Center will celebrate LGBTQ+ graduates, May 10, 12 noon, UCLUB. Event includes a luncheon, keynote address by Marta Miranda, awards recognition and presentation of rainbow cords. Registration required – here. 
 
Rainbow Cords (Deadline, May 4)
Rainbow Cords for LGBTQ+ students to wear during commencement. Students may register to pick-up cords at the LGBT Center (HSC or Belknap), or be presented with cords during Lavender Graduation.  Registration required – here.
 
Katy Garrison Leadership Award (Deadline, April 1)
This award recognizes and celebrates seniors who have: served as an e-board member for an LGBTQ+ themed RSO or Group; worked in the LGBT Center as an intern or student worker; served as an RA for the Bayard Rustin Themed Housing Community; or Served as a panelist for the LGBT Center's Speak Out Team or HSC presentations/trainings.   Registration is here.
