Anne Braden Institute's new website resource on Louisville's history of racism, segregation and oppressions

Dr. Melanie Gast and others from the ABI research group, including our MA graduate student, Cat Alexander, have created a new website resource for the Anne Braden Institute (ABI). The site, Uncovering Racial Logics: Louisville's History of Racial Oppression and Activism, provides resources for people interested in researching or learning more about Louisville’s history of racial activism, segregation, and oppression, specifically in the areas of education, policing, and housing.

The Institute also has posted a recording of the Fall, 2021 ABI lecture by Dr. Elizabeth Hinton here.
