Health Care Ethics Fall, 2021 Virtual Speaker Series on Race and Medicine will feature two sociologists

The Health Care Ethics Fall, 2021 Virtual Speaker Series on Race and Medicine will feature two sociologists.  First, Dr. Oliver Rollins, formerly a faculty member in the Department of Sociology at UofL and now in the Department of American Ethnic Studies at the University of Washington, will present “Can (Neuro)Science be Anti-racist?” on October 20 (noon-1 PM).  Second, Dr. Latrica Best, a faculty member in the Department of Sociology at UofL, will present “Mapping the Different Positions and Politics of Biosocial Research on Race and Health Disparities” on November 17, from 1-2 PM.
