Lauren Reuss has earned a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship to teach English in Thailand.

The Fulbright U.S. Student Program offers research, study and teaching opportunities in more than 140 countries to recent graduates and graduate students. Administered in the U.S. by the Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, the Fulbright program was established in 1946 to promote international goodwill through education and cultural exchange.

Receiving a Fulbright award is an honor and a gift. I now have the opportunity to serve as an ambassador for the community I love while learning to love another."

Achievements:

Graduated in 2022 from UofL with bachelor’s degrees in political science and economics with a minor in philosophy and a certificate in ethics. McConnell Scholar, Honors Scholar.
