Ed Tackett was featured in a recent issue of 3D Metal Printing Magazine. The article focuses on the "dearth of operators trained in 3D metal printing" and on the specialized training offered at the Additive Manufacturing Competency Center (AMCC). As adoption of additive manufacturing increases it is important to address workforce needs. Well trained operators are critical to productive and safe use of additive methods for metal parts. The curriculum developed by Ed and offered on the UofL Campus addresses this need.
