New particle size analysis capability
The RPC has installed a new Microtrac S3500 multi-laser particle size analyzer to replace an older model.
Microtrac S3500
The equipment is configured for dry measurement of particles introduced via a vibratory feeder. The analyzer has a measurement range of 0.243 µm to 1408 µm. It measures spherical particles based on Mie scattering behavior. A modified Mie method can be used for non-spherical particles.
