Gornet represents UofL on AMUG panel

Tim Gornet was one of four experts in the panel session "Additive Manufacturing in 2017 and Beyond - Where We are Now and Where We Need to Go". The panel included  subject matter experts from Siemens (design and simulation), SAP (production/inventory/logistics software) and Stratasys (Equipment OEM). Tim, along with former UofL professor Brent Stucker, co-led the education and training workshop “How Simulation Helps you Build Metal Parts Successfully”. 

The Additive Manufacturing User’s Group (AMUG) educates and advances the uses and applications of additive manufacturing technologies. The March 2017 meeting in Chicago drew over 1600 AM industry practitioners. Tim is a former president of AMUG.
