University Heritage and Awareness Calendar

At the University of Louisville, we honor the rich histories, contributions, and experiences of all identities by commemorating heritage months and cultural acknowledgments throughout the year. These observances provide an invaluable opportunity for all members of our community to deepen their understanding of diverse traditions, individuals, scholarship, history, and lived experiences. By fostering learning and awareness, we aim to create a more inclusive and connected campus environment for all.  While the calendar highlights specific times for celebration, we recognize that the legacies and contributions of these identities are ongoing.
