2018 List of CEHD Scholarships with information on requirements and restrictions.

All scholarships offered through the College of Education and Human Development (CEHD) are for CEHD students, and the scholarships may be applied to tuition only. The CEHD scholarships are distributed based on the requirements and restrictions of the donor agreements. Therefore, there may be variation in the amount of the awards that you may see on your financial aid accounts as funds from multiple donors may be combined for the scholarship amount listed above.

Due to the policies of the Office of Financial Aid office, the CEHD scholarship granted to a student may be reduced or withdrawn if the tuition is covered by other sources (grants, tuition remission, or other scholarships).

Step 1: Student: Register for courses in the term of the awarded scholarship.

Step 2: Education Advising and Student Services: Verification of CEHD major, sources of other financial aid, and term enrollment is verified. Applicants and donor agreements are matched to ensure eligibility. * Please note: If you do not register for a Spring 2019 course, the scholarship will be returned to the CEHD.

Step 3: Education Advising and Student Services: Scholarship spreadsheets are sent to Financial Aid by the CEHD.

Step 4: Financial Aid: Posts the designed scholarship amount to the student account.

Every attempt is made to post the scholarship awards prior to the Bursar's deadline for the payment of tuition each semester. If this does not occur, however, the scholarship recipient is responsible for making payment in full. Once the award is posted with the Bursar, the recipient will be reimbursed in accordance with the amount of the scholarship.
