Central High School Dental Magnet Program continues to grow

On March 25, 2024, 13 Louisville Central High School students marked the next step forward in their dental career. The students, who are preparing to graduate from the Central High School Dental Magnet Program, took part in a White Coat Ceremony at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. Family and friends were there to watch them receive a white coat embroidered with their name and recite a pledge of professionalism.

The keynote speaker was Central High School graduate and ULSD faculty member Dr. Madeline Hicks. ULSD faculty member Dr. Sherry Babbage presented the white coats alongside the program’s lead teacher, ULSD hygiene graduate Rodshay Brooks. ULSD faculty member Mrs. Julie Drury led the pledge of professionalism.
