31st Annual “William J. Mansfield, Jr. Alumni Day” Under the Big Top
by the Office of Continuing Education
On Friday, September 19, 2014, Louisville experienced spectacular late summer weather with mild temperatures and an abundance of sunshine, a perfect day for the University of Louisville School of Dentistry’s 31st Annual “William J. Mansfield, Jr. Alumni Day.” Put the two together along with a circus size tent and a cookout on the grounds of UofL’s Shelby Campus, and you have a recipe for a day of reminiscing with friends and former classmates.
This year’s guest speaker was Dean Morton, BDS, MS, FACP. His presentation was entitled “Enhancing Implant-Based Outcomes through Evolution in Evidence-Based Planning, Clinical Techniques and Materials.” The vendor exhibit hall, breakfast and lunch was set-up outdoors under the tent and the lecture was delivered indoors in the Ballroom. The event was a success, with many enjoying the new location and format.
The UofL School of Dentistry Office of Continuing Education would like to thank all the vendors and program attendees for their continued support of Alumni Day. We welcome your feedback on how to make Alumni Day even better in future years.
