Clinical Rotations:

  • Endodontics: 18 weeks – 486 root canals completed
  • Oral Surgery: 18 weeks – 22 to 28 third molars extracted each day
  • Anesthesia: 4 weeks

Experience:

  • 1983-1990 General Dentist with the US Air Force
    • Functional Pediatric Dentist 1986-1990
  • 1993-1997 Prosthodontist at US Air Force Academy
    • Developed and built prototype Air Transportable Dental Clinic
  • 1997-2001 Prosthodontic Training Officer in AEGD-2 and AEGD-1 programs
    • Responsible for teaching comprehensive treatment planning, RPD survey & design, Complete Denture
      technique, and crown & bridge.
  • 2001-2004 Commander USAF Area Dental Laboratory (ADL)
    • Responsible for production, training, and operation of 86 technician dental laboratory serving all branches of
      the US military worldwide. Liaison Officer between lab and providers. Coordinated and lectured for annual
      ADL Workshop – 3 day CE course for dentists and technicians.
  • 2004 – Present: Private Practice – Comprehensive General Dentistry
  • 2011 – Present: Part time Faculty – University of Louisville School of Dentistry
