As a comprehensive analytics center, CREAM has a suite of cutting-edge instruments for the analysis of biomolecules, polymers, etc. The acquisition and maintenance of the CREAM instruments were supported by the office of Executive Vice President for Research and Innovation (EVPRI), the UofL Health – Brown Cancer Center, and the Department of Chemistry at the University of Louisville, as well as the CREAM Users.
The mass spectrometry facility of CREAM is located on the third floor of the Shumaker Research Building on the Belknap campus. Our NMR facility is located in the Chemistry Building. The Chemistry Building is within walking distance from the Shumaker Research Building. The CREAM MS facility is managed by Mrs. Xinmin Yin and NMR facility is managed by Dr. Neal Stolowich.
