Welcome to the Counseling Center!
UofL Employees should call (502) 589-HELP for the Employee Assistance Program
If you are in crisis or need to speak with someone urgently please call us at 852-6585 M-F or walk-in between 9am and 4pm (when the center is open) for an urgent consultation, and we will assign a clinician to speak with you as soon as possible. We do not schedule appointments for UCs, so please call or walk in when you are ready to speak with a clinician.
Please note that urgent consultation (UC) services are provided on a first come, first served basis. Our busiest time is 2-4pm. You will need time to complete paperwork and see or receive a callback from a clinician, and we do not schedule appointments for UCs. We may have to call you back/see you on the following day if there are several students ahead of you.
Beginning in Fall 2021, all services will be offered via telehealth and/or in-person due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Counseling Center will follow CDC guidelines and University policy to ensure the safety of all students and staff.
