Dr. John P. Wise, Sr. Receives $6.6 Million Award from the NIH/NIEHS
Congratulations to Deputy Director of CIEHS, Dr. John P. Wise, Sr., who received an eight-year, $6.6 millionRevolutionizing Innovative, Visionary Environmental health Research (RIVER) award from the NIH National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIH/NIEHS). The NIH/NIEHS RIVER program rewards outstanding environmental health sciences researchers who demonstrate a broad vision and potential for continuing their impactful research with increased scientific flexibility, stability in funding, and administrative efficiency. In 2020, only four researchers from across the United States received this impressive award.
