Dr. Gregory Barnes, Professor of Neurology in the School of Medicine and CIEHS EHS RIG Leader, was recently featured in IEEE Pulse magazine alongside Dr. Ayman El-Baz, Chair of the Department of Bioengineering and IEEE Fellow at the J.B. Speed School of Engineering, along with Dr. El-Baz research group. The team used AI/ML technology that uses structural MRI, functional MRI, diffusion tensor imaging and genomic data to predict autism in children as young as two years old.
