Career Transition Series

Career assistance workshops

In partnership with the Career Development Center, REACH, and Veteran Affairs, the Office of Military and Veteran Student Services offers the Career Transition Series to all military and veteran students. The intention of the series is to provide each student with individualized assistance in developing career action plans to ensure a more successful transition from military to civilian life. The series is divided into workshops dealing with every aspect of career transition:

Fall Sessions


1.      College Adjustment and Acclimation

2.      Achieving Academic Success

3.      Exploring Majors and Careers

 Spring Sessions

1.      Resume and Cover Letter (Federal and Civilian)

2.      Networking and Job Search 

3.      Interviewing Skills
