Dr. Sutton earned his medical degree in 2004 from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Baltimore, Maryland. In 2011 he received his MBA in Medical Services Management from Johns Hopkins Carey School of Business. Dr. Sutton completed two fellowships at Johns Hopkin Hospital in Cardiovascular Disease and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
