WinterFest 2014: January 6 - 20The Office of First Year Initiatives and our campus partners would like to welcome all of our new and returning students to campus! To make sure you don’t get caught up in the winter BLUES, we’ve compiled a great list of events to get the semester started off right.

9am-5pm, SAC 1st floor Get your WinterFest event guide, ask questions, grab FREE coffee & samples from Jazzman’s, win prizes, learn more about important campus resources, and more! UL Wesley Gathering 6-8pm, InterFaith Center Mr. Bettie Contest 8pm, Bettie Johnson Hall This annual event features student-athletes showcasing their talent to raise money for Kosair Children’s Hospital. Former contestants are now professional athletes and actors. Have some fun and contribute to a great cause! Tuesday, January 7

Step, Floor & Core 12:10-12:55pm, SAC Aerobics Studio This energized aerobic variety class includes step, floor routines, and power CORE moves- and you can try it for FREE during WinterFest! Boot Camp 3-4pm, SAC Aerobics Studio This class will challenge and strengthen your whole body- and you can try it for FREE during WinterFest! Set to upbeat, fast-paced music, you’ll use dumbbells, tubing, calisthenics and stability balls to work all your muscle groups and get energized for the rest of your day.
