About the SPAD Association

The UofL Sport Administration Association enhances the educational experience of association members and makes members more knowledgeable of the sport industry by providing a forum for networking, creating opportunities for members to gain hands-on experience, and providing access to working professionals. In addition, SPAD Association members will utilize their skills to further prepare themselves for their professional career as well as socialize with other University of Louisville students.

SPAD Association Meetings

The SPAD Association general meetings typically take place once per month. The meetings often feature a local or regional sport manager who can share information about his or her background, career path, and advice for success in the sport industry. Additionally, these meetings provide updates on upcoming facility tours, trips, internships, volunteer opportunities, and other news of importance. SPAD Association members also receive benefits such as free access to TeamWorkOnline's MVP portal and the ability to purchase SPAD branded merchandise.

SPAD Association Trip

The SPAD Association members and faculty went to Chicago in Fall 2016. The trip included visits to the Chicago Bulls and Soldier Field. The group had a fantastic time as they met various leaders in the local sports community and attended a Bulls game. Stay tuned for future trips and opportunities!
