Spring 2017 Registration is in progress.  It is not too late to register or fill out the Benefit Enrollment Form (on the left) to request your benefits.  Forms submitted to our office before the close of business on December 23, 2016, will be processed before the Winter Break.  Forms submitted after this date will be processed at our earliest convenience.


                            December 9, 2016        Tuition due for Spring 2017

December 24, 2016- January 2, 2017        University offices will be closed for the Winter Break

                               January 3, 2017        University offices will open at normal business times

                               January 9, 2017        First day of classes

                               January 13, 2017       Last day to drop for 100% tuition credit (10:00 pm)

                               January 16, 2017       University closed- Martin Luther King Day

                               January 17, 2017       Submitting tuition and fees to the VA for Post 9/11 G I Bill recipients                          


  • If you add or drop courses, you must complete a new form as soon as possible to ensure that you are receiving the correct amount of benefits to prevent any overpayments or underpayments.
  • Questions regarding your direct deposits are to be referred to the G I Bill hotline at 888-442-4551.  Our office does not have access to payment information.  .


Our Office

Our mission is to smooth the transition from military life to student life by devoting individualized support to veteran students and their families in providing a broad range of services, coordinating with VA, university departments, and other community organizations.

Our staff can assist with the following:


  • Identifying federal and state education benefit options
  • Advocating military transfer credit
  • Withdrawals/re-admit due to deployments or call to Active Duty status
  • Connecting veteran students with campus resources, veteran service providers, and other agencies encouraging academic success at the University of Louisville


Active Duty Military Tuition Rate : Beginning Spring 2012, this includes Reserve Component Service Members who are receiving Department of Defense Title X tuition assistance funds. This rate is applicable to undergraduate and select graduate programs.
Active Duty orders must reflect 180 consecutive days duration or longer.

*NOTE does not apply to fixed-cost programs or to the professional schools

KY In-state Tuition Rates for Eligible Veterans : In support of our country's Veterans, the University of Louisville offers eligible Post 9/11 GI Bill education beneficiaries resident tuition rates for those who enroll as a non-resident. The current resident rates of $462 per credit hour are available to eligible Veteran students pursuing a baccalaureate degree at the University of Louisville.
